# How to Link Common App and Naviance in Markdown Language

Naviance, on the other hand, is a college and career readiness platform that helps students plan their futures, including college applications. ## Step 1: Obtain the Common App’s URL
Before you can start linking the Common App and Naviance, you need to obtain the URL of your Common Application. Here’s how:
1. Log in to your Common Application account
2. On the “Dashboard” page, click on the “Account” button on the top right corner of the page
3. Scroll down to the “Application Essay” section and click on “View/Print”
4. Copy the URL that appears in your browser’s address bar
